My family was traveling home to Michigan and my husband pulled off the highway to grab gas. I googled a spot for coffee. I like to support local vs big box options. This place seemed unique so we went. I am SO glad we did! It has a cozy and fun atmosphere as soon as you walk in! The decor The menu online is still fairly accurate but it looks like they have seasonal rotations as well, and I'm including the one that was there when we stopped. The barista was extremely nice and even answered my absurd question about if the banana flavor was "runts banana style" or "banana bread style"! (FTR, it was absolutely banana bread style and perfect!) I ordered the DSM-5 and it was so delicious! Not too sweet, and not bitter like some lattes can get. My husband travels to the area for work every so often so I will be sure to stop here again given the chance!
So good that it makes me wish we didn’t live so far away. Had a Remedy and a Concoction, both just what we needed. Breakfast Burrito and BLTA were off the charts good. Pricing was extremely fair, especially for a small business with quality ingredients. The atmosphere was perfect for the menu, and not too smoky from making food. The coffee lid didn’t leak, and they gave us a pen to sign the receipt, wow! Couldn’t have been happier with our visit here, will try again tomorrow before having to drive back home.
What a fun coffee shop with such creative drinks!! I absolutely love stopping here on the way out to run a few errands. I love their HeLa Cell cold brew drink!! This post was made in connection with a Toast promotion.
I came in close to closing today for the first time. They were super kind and fast. They have the most unique and delicious coffee, tea, and energy drink options. The shop itself is gorgeous with real vintage apothecary tools and decor. This will be my new favorite spot, I'm obsessed.
I love this place. The staff are so kind. The food is always delicious. The atmosphere is a fun old-time Apothecary that reminds you of high school chemistry class- in a good way! The coziest, cleanest, friendliest coffee shop ever.
Coffee Apothecary: A Truly Unique Gem Every visit to Coffee Apothecary feels like a treat for the senses. This coffee shop has mastered the art of combining exceptional flavors with an unforgettable atmosphere. I’ve loved everything I’ve tried here—every sip and bite feels thoughtfully crafted. Their BlackBerry Vanilla Matcha is a prime example: subtly balanced with no overpowering flavors, it’s as beautiful to look at as it is delicious to drink. I’ve also enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches and burritos, both of which are nothing short of amazing. And though I adore their current menu, I can’t help but hope they bring back the HeLa Cell—it was seriously the best thing ever! Beyond the menu, Coffee Apothecary is a feast for the eyes. The decor and vibe are truly unmatched. From the carefully chosen colors and whimsical wallpaper to the eclectic furniture and medieval medicinal artifacts, every detail contributes to an ambiance that’s both cozy and fascinating. And don’t even get me started on the plants—they’re absolutely everywhere, creating a lush, vibrant space that feels like a little oasis. Coffee Apothecary is more than just a coffee shop; it’s an experience. If you’re looking for incredible food and drinks served in an inspiring, one-of-a-kind environment, this is the place for you. Highly recommend!
VERY unique take on the coffee shop craze. It’s going to have everything you are used to but several “concoctions” that are fun to try! They also feature flights of their coffees (lattes) and energy drinks (elixirs) for as a new idea (at least to me). We all loved what we got and I’d highly recommend these guys!
Cute, cozy, and I was very thankful that they were open on the holiday. We stopped in today and I had The Cure with soy milk (essentially a mocha, with black salt) and my boyfriend got one of the monster infusions (maybe nightterror or something along those lines). Anyways, the environments was well-curated and despite the long line of cars at the drive thru, we were still able to get our coffee in a timely manner. I also enjoyed the selection of items they had for sale in addition to the food/beverages, especially these blind dates with a book.
